NEED | Laura Arechigo has been in the industry for decades, but recently opened her home salon spa. To attract new clientele, she wanted to rebrand, renovate her website and understand more about the grassroots marketing techniques she could manage with a one-woman team. 

SOLUTION | Inspired by the tranquility of her salon, I created a logo that sampled simple cool tones; the stacked stones represent the balance that her services offer for the mind, body and spirit. We revised her salon packages, pricing, and rewrote the website copy for clarity. I worked with Laura to hire a photographer to shoot new photos of the salon for her new website and Yelp.

After completing the redesign, I coached Laura through creating a Facebook page for her salon. We developed a content strategy that allowed her to schedule posts in advance to free up her busy schedule. Laura also learned how to run paid advertisements via Facebook, which provides a better return on investment than advertising in the local newspaper.
